About Us

Designed by highly experienced Speech and Language Therapists, Suki Ahsam and Rosy Bostock, Speech Quest is a unique on-line resource to help all children reach their communication potential.
  
Suki Ahsam  
Suki Ahsam Suki Ahsam qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 1993 from City University, with distinction. She holds a Licenciate from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and is a registered member of the Health Professions Council. Suki has worked continuously in paediatrics since qualification and now works mostly with young children in the community who have primary language difficulties, speech sound difficulties (including articulatory dyspraxia) and stammering. Suki has published research on working with pre-school practitioners to improve children’s communication and interaction and presented at several conferences in recent years. Suki lives in East Sussex with her husband and two children.
    

Rosy Bostock
Rosy Bostock qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 1981, with distinctions in Applied Psychology and Linguistics, from the School for the Study of Disorders of Human Communication, which is now part of the City University in London. She holds a Licenciate from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and is a registered member of the Health Professions Council. Rosy has practised in paediatrics for 21 years and has extensive experience from her work in community clinics, special schools, mainstream schools and a specialist language unit. Rosy worked as a consultant on the design on two portable communication products, IconSpeak and Mobile Talker. She currently works as a freelance Speech and Language Therapist in West Sussex. Rosy has two grown-up children and lives in West Sussex with her husband, a software designer and IT consultant. Rosy Bostock
