It is recognised that effective communication skills are vital to achieving - socially, educationally and in the workplace. At Speech Quest our aim is to help parents to identify and boost their young children's speech, language and communication skills through parent questionnaires, assessments and activity programmes. Our programmes are full of practical advice and activities to support children's communication skills from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Questionnaire
Our detailed questionnaire covers two core skill areas of your child's communication development: Foundation Skills and Language Skills. Foundation Skills are the essential pre-requisites for the development of Language Skills.

Assessment
Our assessment is based on the score your child has achieved in the Foundation and Language Skills questionnaires. If specific areas for concern are identified by the questionnaires (for example, indicators to a possible hearing problem) they will be highlighted in the assessment.

Activities
Once the questionnaires are fully completed, Speech Quest provides fun activities that show you how to work with your child. The activities are designed to support children who are experiencing difficulties with their communication skills, but are also great to use with children whose communication skills are developing well.
